Bio & Practice
I began my career at the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division in Brooklyn NY in 1995 following my graduation from Penn Law. After practicing there for several years, I moved to Canton, NY where i was an Assistant Public Defender in St. Lawrence County. I was there for two years, and then moved to MA where I worked for Merrimack Valley Legal Services for a year representing victims of Domestic Violence in Family Court. I then moved to FL, where I was an Assistant Public Defender in the 9th Judicial Circuit (in Orlando) for a year. In 2002 I opened my own firm in Winter Park, FL, and practiced both Criminal & Family Law there for 7 years. I then moved to MA & opened my own firm in Newton, MA in 2010. My firm handles Criminal and Family law cases exclusively. I became a bar advocate in Middlesex County in March of 2015 & in Suffolk County a few months later. I am active in the Women's Bar Association and have served on the Board of Directors since 2015. I have chaired several panels at MCLE and have served as a trainer and panelist at several programs in the greater Boston area.
